On June 25, 2023, at Song Lo II Industrial Park (IP) in Vinh Phuc Province, Vinh Phuc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company (VPID) successfully organized the groundbreaking ceremony for Song Lo II Industrial Park, with a scale of 165.65 hectares and a total investment capital of VND 1,520 billion. Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the ceremony.

Also attending the groundbreaking ceremony of Song Lo II Industrial Park were Mr. Nguyen Ba Hien, Secretary of the Song Lo District Party Committee; Mr. Ha Dinh Nha, Head of the Vinh Phuc Industrial Parks Management Board; Mr. Trinh Viet Dung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPID; leaders of provincial departments and functional agencies; representatives of the People’s Committee of Song Lo District and communes within the project area; investors, customers, and partners of VPID; and representatives of central and local media agencies who attended and reported on the event.

Song Lo II Industrial Park is developed in Dong Thinh Commune and Yen Thach Commune, Song Lo District, with an area of 165.65 hectares. The total investment capital of the project exceeds VND 1,500 billion.

The Song Lo II Industrial Park Project was approved in principle by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 229/QD-TTg dated February 23, 2021, and its establishment was approved by the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee under Decision No. 600/QD-UBND dated March 11, 2021. The investor of the industrial park is Vinh Phuc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company, a pioneering enterprise in the field of industrial park infrastructure investment, construction, and business.

At the opening speech of the groundbreaking ceremony for Song Lo II Industrial Park, on behalf of VPID’s leadership, Mr. Pham Trung Kien, General Director of the Company, expressed his sincere gratitude to the leaders of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee and provincial departments and functional agencies; the authorities of Song Lo District and local authorities at all levels for their decisive involvement in helping VPID resolve difficulties and obstacles during the completion of legal procedures and the implementation of the Song Lo II Industrial Park Project; to partners and customers who have been and will continue to support VPID throughout the project implementation process; and to central and local media agencies for always accompanying, reporting on, understanding, and sharing with VPID throughout its development journey.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee, stated: “Song Lo II Industrial Park is the first industrial park to be commenced in Song Lo District. For the project to complete legal procedures and hold today’s groundbreaking ceremony, in addition to the urgent spirit, efforts, and proactive approach of the investor, the provincial departments and agencies and local authorities also received the consensus and support of the people of Dong Thinh and Yen Thach communes, especially the residents who handed over land for the project implementation. On behalf of the provincial leadership, I acknowledge and commend the efforts of the investor, provincial departments and agencies, local authorities, and especially the consensus and support of local residents that made today’s groundbreaking possible.”

Song Lo II Industrial Park will apply advanced technologies to create a green ecosystem, meeting the high standards of investors while inspiring investors and employees working here. A synchronized technical infrastructure system, modern wastewater treatment technology, and a solar power system that efficiently saves production energy will be the key highlights of the industrial park.

Upon completion, Song Lo II Industrial Park will become a bright spot in the economic landscape of Song Lo District in particular and Vinh Phuc Province and the country in general, bringing real and tangible value to investors and enterprises.
