VPID receives the Decision of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee on land allocation for the Song Lo II Industrial Park Project
After two years of carrying out legal procedures for the establishment of Song Lo II Industrial Park, while simultaneously accelerating land compensation and site clearance, the Song Lo II Industrial Park Project has now been issued a land allocation decision by the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee, allowing the Company to proceed with the initial steps of industrial park infrastructure investment and construction. Accordingly, the land area allocated in Phase 1 is 152.76 hectares out of the total planned 165.65 hectares of Song Lo II Industrial Park (accounting for 92.22%). The remaining land area will continue to undergo site clearance for allocation in Phase 2 in 2023.
On June 25, 2023, the Company, in coordination with the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee and local authorities at all levels, officially and solemnly organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Song Lo II Industrial Park. It is expected that by the end of 2023, land can be leased to secondary investors to implement production and business projects, creating employment for tens of thousands of workers, contributing revenue to the provincial budget of Vinh Phuc, supporting the transformation of land-use structure, and promoting local economic development.
With a favorable planned location, Song Lo II Industrial Park is 5 km from the Van Quan interchange of the Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway, 50 km from Noi Bai International Airport, 75 km from the center of Hanoi, 180 km from Hai Phong Port, and 25 km from Vinh Yen City, making it an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.
